LEARNING-RESILIENCE-RESPECT-RESPONSIBILITY
Year 3-6 Camp
At Bolinda Primary School, we believe in providing our students with enriching and memorable experiences beyond the classroom. As part of our curriculum, Year 3-6 students have the opportunity to participate in an exciting camp each year. These camps are designed to foster teamwork, independence, and exploration.
The camps are carefully selected and rotate on a four-year cycle, offering a diverse range of experiences. These may include adventure camps, educational camps, beach camps, and urban camps. Each camp lasts for three days and two nights, providing ample time for students to immerse themselves in new environments and engage in a variety of activities.
During the camps, students have the chance to work collaboratively in teams, enhancing their communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. They also get the opportunity to discover the city and its landmarks, gaining valuable knowledge and insights into different aspects of their surroundings. For many students, the camp experience is their first time being away from home, and it offers a valuable opportunity for personal growth and independence.
The camps are highly anticipated by our students, who thoroughly enjoy the unique learning experiences and the chance to develop skills outside of the traditional classroom environment. From conquering outdoor challenges to embracing new environments, the camps provide a platform for students to broaden their horizons, build lasting friendships, and create lifelong memories.
At Bolinda Primary School, we are committed to providing our students with a holistic education that encompasses both academic and personal growth. The annual camps play a vital role in this, fostering resilience, self-confidence, and a sense of adventure among our students.
