Out-of-School Hours Care

Untitled (42).png

Bolinda Primary School is proud to offer an on-site Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) program designed to support our families with high-quality care in a safe, nurturing and familiar environment.

Our OSHC program operates under the governance of Bolinda Primary School Council and is guided by the National Quality Framework. Being school-based allows us to provide continuity of care, strong communication with teaching staff, and a seamless experience for children and families.

A Safe and Supportive Environment

Our program provides:

  • A calm and welcoming space before and after school

  • Qualified and experienced educators

  • Structured yet flexible activities that support play, creativity and social connection

  • Strong supervision and clear behaviour expectations

  • A consistent focus on wellbeing and inclusion

Children are cared for by staff who know our school community and who share our values of Respect, Resilience, Responsibility and Learning.

Convenience for Families

Because our OSHC program is located on school grounds:

  • There is no additional travel required

  • Children transition smoothly between school and care

  • Families enjoy the ease of a single, familiar location

We understand that family life is busy. Our program exists to provide reliable, high-quality care that supports working families while ensuring children feel secure and connected.

 Learning Through Play

At Bolinda OSHC, we believe that out-of-school hours are an important time for:

  • Social development

  • Building independence

  • Developing friendships

  • Creative expression

  • Outdoor play and physical activity

Activities are planned to reflect children’s interests while also providing opportunities for exploration, problem-solving and teamwork.

Commitment to Quality

Bolinda Primary School is committed to delivering an OSHC program that reflects the same high standards we uphold in our classrooms. Our service complies with all regulatory requirements and operates under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.

We are proud to extend our commitment to excellence beyond the school day and look forward to building a vibrant, engaging OSHC program for our community.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

We acknowledge the Wurundjeri people, the Traditional Owners of the land where we meet. We respect the eagles flying high in the sky, the trees growing strong from the earth, and the flowing waters of the Bolinda Creek that connect us all. We pay our respects to the Elders past, present, and future.
